TT Electronics Launches High-Efficiency TEAD360 Series 360W GaN Power Adapters

Leveraging cutting-edge Gallium Nitride (GaN) technology, this new ultra-efficient adapter series sets a new industry standard, offering the smallest, lightest, coolest, and fastest desktop power charging solution available today.

Weighing a mere 950g (2.09lb) and boasting compact dimensions of 170mm (6.69”) x 84mm (3.31”) x 31.5mm (1.24”) (LxWxH), the TEAD360 adapters deliver a substantial 360W of continuous power with an impressive efficiency rating of up to 95%. These adapters accommodate a wide nominal input range of 90 to 264VAC and offer versatile output voltages ranging from 12 to 56VDC, catering to a diverse array of high-power applications, including industrial equipment, security systems, digital signage, and audio-visual equipment.
Available in both Class I and Class II (double-insulated, no ground connection required) configurations, the series adheres to stringent global safety standards, ensuring optimal protection against electric shock. The adapters are equipped with IEC 320 C14, C6, C18, or C8 inlets to accommodate various AC power cords. The standard DC output features the widely used 6-pin Molex mini-fit connector; however, custom connector options are available upon request.
All TEAD360 models meet the stringent DOE Level VI efficiency requirements for global use, with a no-load power consumption of less than 0.5W. The integrated active PFC function ensures maximum power efficiency, even under full-load conditions. Comprehensive protection features, including short-circuit, overvoltage, overcurrent, and overtemperature protection, are standard.
The TEAD360 series complies with the FCC Part 15 regulation for multimedia equipment (MME) and adheres to the EN55032/CISPR32 standard for Class B conducted and radiated emissions, as well as the EN55035/CISPR25 immunity standard. Furthermore, it meets the UL/IEC/EN 62368-1 safety standard.
